Real Estate Assessor's Office
The staff of the Assessor’s Office wants to ensure that your assessment is accurate and equitable.
Hearings to review your assessment will be held from March through May.
If you have questions regarding the information on your real estate record, the assessment process, or the assessor’s opinion of the value of your property, please call our office to discuss your concerns with an appraiser. A review of your property record for accuracy or a field inspection can often clear up any misinformation.
A formal appeal can be filed with the assessor by the property owner or their authorized agent. Complete the correct form located below and return it to the office for review.
The residential appeal should be based on uniformity and/or market value. The amount of change from the previous year’s assessment is not a legal basis for appeal.
The commercial appeal should be based on uniformity and/or market value. The amount of change from the previous year’s assessment is not a legal basis for appeal.
